Eco-Rich Mulch is produced on our grounds from local trees, obtained from local Wisconsin sources. The double ground hardwood mulch is available in 3 blends.

• Urban Blend

Sourced from local arborists, we grind the chips to produce particle size of +/- 1”. Lighter in color and texture, this is a great looking, uniform mulch recycling and reusing materials right from within your own community! Recommended primarily for tree and shrub beds.

• Forest Magic

Our signature product! This mulch starts with the “Urban Blend” but then is highly composted. I have seen these piles get so hot they have actually started on fire! Composting breaks down the softer organic materials in the mulch which are then ready to feed your plants! The particle sizes become slightly smaller and the mulch turns to a long lasting deep brown color. The mulch is denser and heavier doing a better job of weed control and it stays put!

This is a great choice to give your planting beds a deep rich appearance. Readily available nutrients feed and promote the health of your plants and prevent the anemic look that fresh mulches can cause. Use for trees, shrubs, AND perennial beds.

• Perennial Gold

This mulch starts with the “Forest Magic” and is further composted to produce an even richer and finer textured mulch. This is a great choice where your planting beds are a predominance of perennials and ground cover plants.

Coverage rates: 1 Yard will cover 100 sq. ft. (10’x10’) approx. 2-3 inches thick
1 Yard will cover 200 sq. ft. (10’x20’) approx. 1-2 inches thick

Urban Blend is best used at a thicker rate, Forest Magic and Perennial Gold are great for
dressing and can be applied at thinner rates
